Numbers, Nibbles and Know-Hows
We were very pleased to have parents engagement with our first Numbers, Nibbles and Know-Hows session. The aim of the session was to share methods that we use in school to teach the children the maths concepts as well as sharing any feedback from parents. During the session we explained the concrete, pictorial and abstract approaches in maths. What Teaching for Mastery is and how parents can use this information to further support their childs learning at home.
